First and foremost, I hope you did have a Merry Christmas and looking forward to a prosperous 2016. Over here, in the city of Barcelona, it was sort of warm, it was around 17ºC. However, we had a great time with our loved ones, families and friends.

I read 4 books this fall, started a fifth one, have not finished yet, hopefully I'll be done before the year ends and I can proudly say I
read 20 books in 2015. Cross my fingers!

What did I read this autumn?
- An Elegy for Easterly by Petina Gappah
- The Spider King's Daughter by Chibundu Onuzo
- Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese
- The Prisoner's Wife by Asha Bandele
I visited Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Nigeria and the United States of America with my readings. They were all interesting in their different kind of ways. However, my highlight of the season was Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese.
At the moment I am reading:
Whiteman by Tony D'souza.
How is your holiday going? Are you reading anything at the moment? How was your reading in the last 3 months?

ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Alain Mabanckou's "Tomorrow I'll Be Twenty". I'm hoping I can finish it before 2015 runs out.
ReplyDeleteHi Osondu,
DeleteI have never read anything from Mbanckou, he originally writes in French, right??
